Arrival time:
You are expected at 10:30 AM to set up your instruments and do a sound check. The live broadcast starts at 11:00 AM sharp and ends at 1:00 PM.

Please mute your phones before the broadcast begins (silent, not vibrate!) and follow any further practical instructions from our host/hostess and studio staff.

Practical & Technical Information:

  • About 5 to 6 songs can be played. This number depends on the scheduling of the interviews and the number of guests. The sixth song may be omitted if more time needs to be devoted to a particular topic or guest.
  • We anticipate an average duration of 3:30 to 4:00 minutes per song. If any songs are much shorter or (especially) much longer, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them in our schedule.
  • We’d like to know the song titles you’ll be playing in advance so we can display them at the beginning of each song and so the presenter can also introduce and/or end the songs if necessary.
  • The stage is 3 m², so a drum kit is unfortunately not possible. Small percussion instruments, such as bongos or a cajon, are welcome.
  • We have a mixing console that can accommodate up to 5 instruments/vocals.
  • We’ll provide the necessary sound equipment and cables. Do you have any special requests? Let us know!
  • During the broadcast, there will also be time for a short interview (approximately two to three minutes): a brief chat with the presenter about who you are, any special details about your music, any upcoming concerts, etc. (as a preliminary step). This conversation usually takes place around (the beginning or end of) one of the last songs you’ll play.
  • The show will be filmed with 4 cameras (3 mobile, 1 stationary). Between your performances, during conversations with guests at the table, you will occasionally appear in the background.
  • During your performances, guest changes may occur. This means that when a conversation ends, guests will leave the table and our studio staff will direct new guests to their table, all simultaneously and within a minute—while you’re playing. It may seem hectic and even chaotic in the studio, but you won’t see that on TV; your performance will be shown without interruption—and hopefully, it won’t be too distracting during your performance.
  • Our studio, including the restroom, is wheelchair accessible.

Biography & Photo:
We would appreciate receiving a short biography and a photo so we can post it on our website. We would appreciate receiving this information no later than one week before the broadcast.

You can also submit the requested information above (song titles, special requests, etc.) using the form on this page.
